francis1957 Posted January 1, 2007 #1 Share Posted January 1, 2007 I've heard PR is a great place to do a whale watching excursion. We will be in PR 2 days precruise. Any suggestions on where, company used, chances of seeing a whale?
javier Posted January 2, 2007 #2 Share Posted January 2, 2007 The best month to see the humpback whale is February. These whales can be seeing from September through April from any coast of Puerto Rico, but they get closer to Rincón than any other town. You can go to Rincón Lighthouse on or before 8:30 AM, cross your fingers, and look to the horizon. Whales come to PR to mate, so it is not the best idea to go on a boat as you can do in other countries.
