Any Changes

Anyone sailed on the Veendam real recently? What was the best things about this ship and the worst? How did you feel about the quality of the food and service?

 

Do you think there are some changes in the last couple years?

We reluctantly got off the Veendam Dec 16 and could not have been happier with the shipboard experience. The ship was in wonderful condition, the crew efficient, happy and extremely friendly. Food was to die for, except for the Chef's dinner, which we didn't care for at all. My brother in law and his wife, who sailed with us on their first cruise, were so impressed they are in the process of booking their next cruise on HAL.

Since this was our first time on the Veendam, I can't say if there are any changes. We were impressed with the Pinnacle also, unlike when we were on the Westerdam. Service and food were excellent!
