Star Lido Deck -- How windy is it?!

We leave for the Star Princess this Saturday and our stateroom is on the Lido deck, which I know is quite high up. Will we be able to comfortably use the balcony at night (when the ship is moving)? Or will it be unbearably windy? How about when in port? Sorry for all the questions ... this is our first balcony ever. :D

Thanks much!

We had Lido 301 on the Star in March this year for Western Carib (the week BEFORE the fire) and it was great.

But I guess it does depend on your itinerary and the weather 'outside'.

We had calm seas and balmy temps and practically lived on the balcony. We had breakfast and Happy Hour after a full day of shore excursions and just loved it.

It really added big time to the enjoyment of the cruise IMHO.

Enjoy.

We will be on the same cruise you are on Dolphin deck.

We had a Dolphin cabin before and some days it was perfect and some days it was too windy to even read a magazine. But its still cool to just look out over the ocean!
