Airport Improvement Fee at Vancouver Airport (YVR)

Has anyone purchased the Airport Improvement Fee for the Vancouver Airport (YVR) ahead of time? If so, who did you contact to do this? We have a group of 20 people departing Vancouver on a Noon flight and I would like to have the AIF pre-purchased to cut down on time in line once at the airport. Any information regarding this would be most appreciated!

A phone call to the airport resulted in the answer of-No,you have to buy it when you get there. It really is not a big deal

I purchased 25 YVR AIF tickets a few years ago. Just visit www.yvr.com and look for contact information and simply place a call. Make sure you specify where the trip is to - within BC is $5, within Canada is $10, etc.

If your departure is after May 31st the AIF is already on your airline ticket according to the yvr site.

mpw2002: Thanks for the info. No matter how mnay times you check the YVR websiter, there's always something new being added. Glad to know I don't have to worry about it anymore!!
