Private Driver in Marseille

Looking for a driver for the Marseille area in July. Any suggestions? Do any of them do half day tours? Any help would be great.

We have booked Provence Sightseeing for October. We were on Splendour last August and going again this year. They were recommended by Sylvie who we toured with in Villefranche. The website is [url="http://www.riviera-prestige-tours.com"]www.riviera-prestige-tours.com[/url]
Go to sightseeing. Then go to Our Favorite Tour go to Click Here and Go to Provence tours you will need to scroll down to the bottom to see the provence tours. We sent her an email and told her what we were interested in and then she came back with several suggestions. I have not heard of anyone who has used this company but since it is a recommendation from Sylvie ( who is a very popular tour operator on these boards) I figure it is a good recommendation. The tour we booked is Isle Sure La Sorgue, Roussillon, St. Remy, and Les Baux de Provence plus a wine tasting tour.

We were on the Splendour a couple of weeks ago and used Catherine at [url="http://www.provence-travel.com"]www.provence-travel.com[/url] we all enjoyed our day with her very much.

You might also consider Bonjour Provence at [email]info@bonjourprovence.net[/email] - my wife and I were considering going to Avignon and Pont du Gard with them when we are in Marseilles late October but we'd have to find someone to share the cost. I haven't heard anything about them yet, but they may be what you are after.

How much do these private excursions cost, and do they run in November? We'll be in Marseille overnight on November 11th, which is probably a holiday in France. The Wind Surf is a small ship with few CC people, so our tour might be just for the two of us.

I have found that for the Marseille port that these private tours cost between 300-400E for two. It is generally cheaper than those in Italy. However, I'm investigating a cheaper possibility and if it works out I'll let you know about it on this thread.
