1 Day Car Rental for Barbados?

I am having trouble finding a car rental agency in Barbados that is willing to rent a car for just one day if we are arriving by cruise ship. All the rental agencies we have contacted say if arriving by cruise ship we need to call Stoutes rental. We have called Stoutes rental & they do not have anything available. We only need the car for 1/17/07. Any suggestions?

try jones car rental we just booked trough them for 6 $90.00

We rented a car from Stoute's (sp?). They had a small kiosk just outside the terminal not far from where all the taxi drivers congregate. We rented a moke and it was about $85.00 for the day.

 

Driving was great anywhere but Bridgetown. That was a pain! Streets going every which way and none of them marked.
