Teena Parking right at the terminal (and I mean literally on top of the terminal) is $14.00 a day. Parking in New Orleans is anywhere from $22 -24 at hotels in the French Quarter. I would suggest the Cruise Terminal only because it is as safe a place as you are going to find. Sadly, crime has returned to New Orleans and while no place is absolutely safe....we felt better leaving our vehicle at the terminal.
allicat1214 Posted January 9, 2007 #3 Share Posted January 9, 2007 I concur, having just gotten off the Fantasy yesterday (and having cruise withdrawal today.....) We arrived around 10:30 or so, just drove into the parking lot, the porter took our luggage out of the trunk, we drove up and parked, took an elevator down. It is soooooo smooth and easy now with this new terminal. We were on the ship by 11:45 and having our buffet on the Lido deck by 11:55!!! Enjoy! tjwcs Posted January 9, 2007 Author #4 Share Posted January 9, 2007 Do you remember the name of the terminal? If I am right, there are a couple of different ones. Teena:D
allicat1214 Posted January 9, 2007 #5 Share Posted January 9, 2007 Erato Street Terminal. It's brand new! I think there's also Julia Street and Poland Ave., but from what I understand from a friend who works with Customs, most ships leave from this new terminal now.
