Draft Beer?

I'm going on the elation soon and was wondering if they served draft beer? I went on Royal Carribean last year and a 16oz draft of amstel light was like $5.00 and I was just wondering if they offered the same or similar on carnival. Does anyone who recently went on the elation or any other carnival cruise know the prices and drafts they offer? Thanks!

I didnt order any beer while on the Elation but I never saw anyone with any draft. If they did it was probably at the sports bar. I was aboard the night UF won the NCAA basketball championship last spring. Now they will be crowned BCS national champs in football tomorrow nite. Go Gators and go SEC.

On our first two cruises, Destiny and Victory, draft Heineken was available at the lobby bar. On our last few cruises the draft taps were apparent on other ships at the lobby bar but they looked out of services so I am guessing draft beer has been discontinued. I have no idea why other than the potential for breakage.

As long as were on the subject of beer, does anyone know how much Carnival charges for the "bucket" of beer?

Don't they always have draft beer at the bars just outside of the Casino (and at the Cigar bar)? I'm almost sure they do, but cld be wrong.

It varries from ship to ship. On the Paradise in December at the Atrium bar they had Heinekin and another import on draft but no domestics.

 

I think it was $22 (dont quote me, my wifes the beer drinker) for 5 Miller Lites. It was 5.18 a bottle (tip included in that price).

we were on Valor last spring and when we were at the past guest reception my boyfriend asked for beer instead of the standard foo-foo drinks and they had draft in the lounge by the piano bar, sorry i can't remember the name of the lounge.

Valor has draft Heineken and Bud in the lobby bar and the sports bar (right next to the Casino). According to the bartenders those were the only locations with draft beer.

On Victory they had draft beer in the sports bar. :)

Legend had draft at most bars but defintely the lobby and the aft lido bar and the casino - not sure but I htink Heineken, Bud Light and Amstel Light...

 

Bucket of 16 oz Bud Light was $17 or so for 4 beeers.
