Is the Casino open on the ship while docked in Nassau?

I read somewhere about the casino on the ship being open late in the day while being in Nassau. I thought most places were shut down on the ships while in port. Anybody have information on this? We are taking the Sensation out in April. Thanks

It was open from 7PM until 3AM in Nassau back in September.

It was open till about 2:00am last September. The casino is normally closed while in port but (according to one of the dealers) Carnival made some sort of arrangement with Nassau because of the overnight stay. I'm sure nothing has changed since then.

 

Have a fun trip. BTW, there is also a casino on Cable Beach and don't forget about Atlantis (high table minimums)!

I read in a Capers posting issued late December 2006, that it is open from 7pm until "late".

We were on the Fascination in May and the casino was open in the evening for our gambling pleasure! :)
