sunlover5 Posted January 9, 2007 #2 Share Posted January 9, 2007 Could try Sleep Inn, Comfort Inn, Embassy Suites not sure what price range you want. Good Luck. Do know the Sleep Inn has a breakfast, shuttle and gets pretty good review.
msolberg Posted January 9, 2007 #3 Share Posted January 9, 2007 Priceline! Can't beat it. Go to biddingfun.com or biddingfortravel.com to find out the best way to use it and what to bid. I have never been disappointed yet with priceline. Diane

Bequia Posted January 9, 2007 #6 Share Posted January 9, 2007 34 days is not exactly last minute. You should be able to find many choices in your price range. Read through the threads, theres a tremendous amount of reviews on the many hotels available in FLL. ;)
CndnFmlyof3 Posted January 9, 2007 #7 Share Posted January 9, 2007 Can't tell you where to stay but can offer suggestion where NOT to stay....Beach Plaza Hotel on Ft. Lauderdale Blvd. Website looks somewhat appealing and it is on the ocean (if you have extra time before your cruise) but this place is a dump.We stayed there last year before our cruise...ended up getting all our money back after we got home.Gum on the floor, stained toilets...and yes dirty sheets with hairs on them.Had to sleep on top of everything,on our own towels in our clothes.Everything else was booked because it was March Break and we didn't have a vehicle..so had to stick it out for 1 night but it was awful. So if anyone you know is considering staying here...tell them DONT!!!Besides that, the cab ride cost a fortune because the traffic was so backed up with stoplights and such. It wasnt that far from the ships, but took that much longer to get there while the meter keeps on turning round and round. I suggest that if you will be taking a cab to get to the Ship, stay as close as you possibly can if your motel is on a busy strip.
