rwanderson Posted January 9, 2007 #1 Share Posted January 9, 2007 I need details on the Murano restaurant. Is this one of your dining options while on the ship or is this an "additional cost" experience?
bububr Posted January 9, 2007 #2 Share Posted January 9, 2007 Muranos is an additional $30.00 per person. It was an additional $145.00 if the wine pairing was included. Dave:eek:
luvs2sun Posted January 9, 2007 #3 Share Posted January 9, 2007 When do you book this restaurant? Can you book prior to sailing or after you board. We will probably board rather early on Sat-can we do it at that time so that we insure the date/time that works best for us?
GramaFran Posted January 10, 2007 #4 Share Posted January 10, 2007 You can book in advance if you are a Captain's Club member: "Quote: Presailing Specialty Restaurant Reservations If you're booking a cruise on one of the Millennium-class ships-Constellation, Infinity, Millennium and Summit, you can make dinner reservations 60 days prior to sailing and up to 4 days prior to sailing for one of the Specialty Restaurants. These unique dining venues are recreations of the very restaurants on board famous ocean liners of the past. To make arrangements, please call the Captain's Club. The per guest cover charge (which includes gratuities) will be automatically added to your onboard account. Guests must be 12-years of age or older. Proper attire is required. "quote this applies to Century also. We enjoyed Murano's 2 nights during our last cruise - The service is equal or better than the best restaurant in San Francisco. Love the goat cheese souffle. wdh Posted January 10, 2007 #5 Share Posted January 10, 2007 Muranos is a fabulous dining experience from the moment you walk through the doors you are treated like royalty. On our most recent cruise 12/16/06, we dined there each evening. Domonique and his staff are clearly outstanding. I do recommend the goat cheese souffle, however, the Russian salad was quite good also. Of our 5 nights dining there, there was nothing I would hesitate on having again. The presentation was wonderful. The ambiance....what can I say. A harpist is there each evening. Muranos was the highlight of our trip. We looked forward to our evenings there. Our recommendations....you must try Muranos at least one nite. If you are unable to make reservations prior to your cruise, once you board go to the lobby where Guest Realtions is located....Muranos is just to the left under the winding staircase. Dominique will be waiting there to make reservations. ENJOY!!!!
