Is there Public Transportation on Antigua

I found a post on another site that tells a little about public transportation. Does anyone have any information? I searched and came up empty. We will be in Antigua on the Destiny on February 16.

There is public transportation in Antigua. It however depends on where you want to go. You could get a bus to Jolly Harbour or Turners, Darkwood beach, English Harbour etc but will not get one to take you to Long Bay for instance. So it all depends on your interest.

Where do you pick up the public bus, how much does it cost and how long does it take to go to Turner Beach?

The bus takes approximately 30 minutes from St. john's to turners and it should and should cost about US$1.50 one way.

directions to the public transportation 7 min which direction is it close to any thing ,across the stree from and landmark. store.. don't want to head out the wrong direction .:eek:

no one talkin so i will answer my own question... west bus station across form the public market ( craft fish and veg market) on market st. bus runs from 1.50 to 3.50 goes to jolly ,turner ,darkwood ,english harbor. taxi each way 27$ bus around 14$ i think for 4 people. to turner anyway its cheaper have done it in st thomas.
