Miami Zoo

We're flying into Miami the day before our cruise and have decided to go to the Miami Zoo. Has anyone done that? How long should we allow for the zoo? We don't arrive until 2:00 in the afternoon...will we have time to see most of it?

The zoo closes at 5:30 PM and the ticket booths close at 4. It's also a long drive from the airport to it (SW 124th Avenue & SW 152nd Street).

You said it's a long drive from the airport - how long? An hour? 20 mins? We can't think of anything else we'd like to do so even if we have 2 hours at the zoo, we'd be happy.
