Mariner of the Seas-Deck 6

We have never sailed with RCCL before....last two cruises have been HAL. Can anyone tell me about deck 6 on Mariner? We've requested a balcony and have been offered 6612, which looks to be a hump cabin, by an online agency. I'm not used to the large ships and previously have been on higher decks. How is the location of this deck in relation to other areas we'll be frequenting?
