Has anyone chartered a fishing boat in Antiqua?

 

DH & 2 others are looking to fish on our next cruise and are hoping they can find something good in one of the ports.

Mike has been getting some good wahoo and mahi lately and released two white marlin last weekend too. He collects from the cruise ship area too.

They have dealt with rough seas, but not sure they want to. We'll be cruising in March - are the seas still on the rough side then?

last march we did some lovely fishing with some friends in calm seas but it was also rough during that month. it can go either way i think in march. tough one.

Are there any places to rent fishing gear? Not for a charter, just to surf cast somewhere? Or any locals that will take you to local fishing spots? My DH loves to fish and I was hoping to surprise him with a side fishing trip on our Feb cruise...

You say fishing you call my name. Its my favourite thing to do.Depending on the day you are coming I could take you guys fishing I have to say though the best time for fishing is very early morning or after three in the afternoon and there after. but if you are coming in on a day that I'm available I'd love to take you fishing with me. you could send me an email and we will take it from there. hya_9@hotmail.com
