Stroller on Public Busses

Me, wife and our 10 month old baby girl will be visiting Grand Cayman in February. We are arriving on the Carnival Triumph. We have decided to take one of the Public busses to visit the turtle farm and Hell. After that we will most likely just do some shopping around the Pier area or visit one of the restaurants. My question is will we be able to bring a baby stroller on the bus? Is there some room for this? I read the busses are actually just larger vans and this is why I ask.

It is not an umbrella stroller and yet it is not the full size model. The Stroller does collapse down.

Will this be a problem on the busses?

We were just there in early December with our almost 2 yr old son in his stroller. We had an umbrella stroller on the pulic bus with no problems at all. So long as hubby held the stroller and had our son in my lap we did not have to pay a fare for him, but if your stroller is larger you might have to pay a 3rd person fare.

I highly recommend the butterfly farm as well. cheaper entry fee than the turtle farm, and my son loved it, but we are nature photography buffs so that was a big interest for us. The tour was fun, took hundreds of pictures then we walked right around the corner to Royal Palms beachfront. Great food, fairly priced with lockers to rent and they kept the stroller for us while we swam.

Have fun!
