Jeter2 Posted January 15, 2007 #1 Share Posted January 15, 2007 Just booked a NCL Pearl 9 Day cruise in April. Booked a mini-suite on the 11th deck and I'm very excited. The ports of call are awesome (Dominica, Barbados, St. Lucia, Antigua and Tortola). My fiance and I are getting married in the cruise chapel while docked in Barbados. Is a Barbados wedding license legal in the U.S? Does anyone have wedding experiences with NCL they'd like to share? Also, we are both beach people. Can anyone recommend the best beach on each island for swimming and snorkeling? Thank You!!! cmdchiefthom Posted January 16, 2007 #2 Share Posted January 16, 2007 Jeter, I'm not a lawyer, but I've spent many years overses. My experience oversears suggests, if you have a license issued by Barbados, and US passorts for each of you, it shouldn't be an issue. You would need to register the marriage at your county courthouse when you return, in order to make it legal in the states. When are you cruising? Check out our roll call for the 30th of March aboard the Pearl.
