Question about Lucaya

How far is Lucaya from the carnival cruise pier? How much is a taxi there? Isn't there a casino close to the beach at Lucaya? I've seen that there's lots of watersports around (parasailing, banana boat rides, dolphin swims, etc.). Has anyone seen the parasailing while they were there? Do they pull the riders from the beach, or do the riders go up from the ocean? Is all of this stuff in Lucaya close together? Thanks ahead of time for your help. :)

No, we're not gonna be in Nassau. Would love to go one day, but are only in Freeport from 7-3. That's why I need to know how to get to where, etc.:)

It is a $5 per person cab ride each direction. The casino is right by Our Lucaya. Chairs for the beach were $10 each when I was there at the resort.

 

I was underwhelmed with Freeport....

The cab ride takes 20-30 minutes from the port to Our Lucaya/Port Lucaya area. As mentioned, it costs $5 per person each way in a shared taxi.
