Can anyone give us some information on snorkeling in Acapulco, Ixtapa and Manzanillo?

Can anyone give us some information on snorkeling in Acapulco, Ixtapa and Manzanillo?

We were in these three ports in December and had good snorkeling at La Roqueta Island in Acapulco - we never went over by the rocks at the sides of the beach, so the snorkeling was probably better there.

 

We had really good snorkeling at La Audencia in Manzanillo - here we went to the edge of the crescent shaped beach and snorkeled by the rocks about 50-100 feet from the sand. We saw hundreds and hundreds of beautiful fish and were really surprised since the snorkeling in Mexico is fair at best.

 

We didn't snorkle in Zihua, but I've heard it's pretty good at Las Ropas - you get there by water taxi. In Zihua we go around to the end of the beach right in Zihua where the beach hotels are. The beach is beautiful and the water wonderful for playing in the waves.

in manzanillo we also enjoyed la audencia beach, take a taxi there,

 

and in ixtapa/Zihuta we went to las gatas beach by water taxi, beautiful,

you can rent jet skis, snorkel, ride banana boats , eat , and lounge,

its really really nice there, the water isnt rough, and its beautiful..
