mrsgoofy98 Posted January 15, 2007 #1 Share Posted January 15, 2007 I hope someone can help. I need to know if anyone has slept on the sofabed in a Suite on the Noordam. I have a gentleman who is 6 ft, 300 pounds, and a bad back. He wants to be sure he will be comfortable sleeping on the sofabed. I have had conflicting information from Holland America. Two people said it was not a pull out sofa, and one who said it was. Who do I believe and will he be comfortable. He had back surgery this year, and it would be horrible if the sofabed has bars. Thanks for any help
Oriole Posted January 16, 2007 #2 Share Posted January 16, 2007 We were in an SA suite on the Noordam in December - Our couch was indeed a sofa bed that was made up by the steward each night. Our sofa bed was described as being for 2 people and looked like a full. My 19yr old 6'1" 200lb son said it was comfortable. - but he's young and sleeps on an extra-long twin dorm bed at college. cruisun Posted January 16, 2007 #3 Share Posted January 16, 2007 I have seen pictures of the sz with the sofa bed made up. Looks like a full size bed, however, I have never met a sofa bed without bars.
Tinknock50 Posted January 16, 2007 #4 Share Posted January 16, 2007 I slept on the sofa bed in SZ 6052 on the Oosterdam and it didn't fold out. It actually had a narrow version of the Heavenly bed. It sort of flipped out from under the sofa cushions. It was very comfortable.
