BullinOhio Posted April 25, 2004 #1 Share Posted April 25, 2004 Just got back from a Princess cruise. Took ship's dive excursions for these three stops. All were good, but I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend diving in Dominica if you get the chance. There is a wall about 3/4 mile ESE (I think, errr to the right as your facing land from the ship) from the ships dock that is awesome. The wall starts at about 30' and drops to over 300'. Best diving I have ever had! Happy sailing and diving! 4/04 Sun Princess 12/03 Grand Princess 7/02 Monarch of the Seas 3/02 Golden Princess 12/97 Mississippi Queen 5/94 Russian River Cruise MS Tolstoy?? err... something like that
kitty555 Posted April 27, 2004 #2 Share Posted April 27, 2004 Hi. We are going on the Golden Princess at the end of May and selected Antigua and St. Lucia as our dive spots with Princess. What do you think? thanks
BullinOhio Posted April 29, 2004 Author #3 Share Posted April 29, 2004 Sorry, I have not been to St. Lucia or Antigua. They are on the to-do list though. The Golden is great, I am envious! Have a great time and report back on the diving there.
steveaaaa Posted May 24, 2004 #4 Share Posted May 24, 2004 How were the seas in Dominica in the dive areas? Are they calm? Did you also dive the Champagne site? Thanks Steve
BullinOhio Posted May 27, 2004 Author #5 Share Posted May 27, 2004 I am not sure what the names of the sites we dove in Dominica were. I wish I had a map and could show you where. The water was maybe a one foot chop. Very calm. During our surface interval we had a couple pods of dolfin running with the boat and playing with us that was really neat.
