Adventure, 3/18/07 - How are the beds?

We're booked on the AOS for March 18 and with all the talk about new bedding we just wondered if anyone had an update on the Adventure.

This was the schedule for the new beds. You may have them. ?

( I never had a problem sleeping on their old ones.)

 

The fleetwide bedding program update is the same type as that of Freedom of the Seas and will include:

 

- New bed frames designed to prevent sagging;

- Nine-inch-thick spring mattresses with separate two-inch-thick micro-fiber pillow tops;

- 220-thread-count long-staple cotton-blend sheets;

- Two micro-fiber pillows, plus one decorative pillow;

- Duvet with cotton-blend covers;

- Bed skirts; and Colored bed scarves placed at the end of the beds to protect the duvet.

 

The tentative roll-out schedule is as follows.

Someone mentioned previously that AOS was headed for a drydock sometime this summer...but can't find any breaks in cruise schedule for such...any word on this and what else might be replaced besides bedding?

Am I the only one who sleeps like a baby on a cruise.......regardless of the bed or bedding? Only 32 more days...........

I see where Alexis posted the AOS started 2/25/07. We are on that sailing, do they do it while you are sailing, I thought they waited and did them all at once when in drydock???? Thanks!!

I have read on here that on some of the cruises they were changing the bedding while at sea. That was posted by fellow CC's who saw it being done.

Well, on the Feb. 25 sailing, if they want to change ours, we'll let them and try it out for everyone.;)
