candj89 Posted January 18, 2007 #1 Share Posted January 18, 2007 I am interested to find out what makes the Supper Club different from the free dining? Is it really worth the extra money? I would love to hear from people who have had dinner there. Thx C
DAllenTCY Posted January 18, 2007 #2 Share Posted January 18, 2007 I believe it is well worth the money for a few reasons: 1. Small venue for "special" dinner (anniversary, birthday, etc.) 2. Very easy to get a table just for 2 3. A change of pace from the dining room, different decor, etc. 4. Excellent wait staff, giving personal attention to you 5. Wonderful musical group playing, at least on our cruise 6. The best T-bone steak on the seas A few warnings; however: 1. Avoid the glass staircase if you are acrophobic, use the elevator 2. The window tables are adjacent to the outside deck, so even though you can look out for an ocean view, your cruisemates can stop and watch you dine. Rare jeffreytg Posted January 18, 2007 #3 Share Posted January 18, 2007 I echo most of what the previous poster stated. But, allthough there are seats next to the windows- the supper club does not open until 6:00 PM, so depending on the time of year it may be dark outside and although people may be looking in at you, I doubt that you could see them unelss you tried to But that would not bother me anyway, i live in San Diego CA where we have outside dining all over the place with 1000s of cars and people going by seeing me eat, does not bother me. In my opinion it is worth doing one night of the cruise just for something to do at diner.
