Waitlisted for Main Dining

What are your chance of getting main dining if you are waitlisted? I have three young kids and we were assigned 2nd seating? They'll all be half asleep!:eek:

It is my understanding that main seating is easier to get than late seating, so you probably have a good chance. just see the matre d if you get the late and ask to switch.

?? when is your cruise? How much time before you sail?

 

We were waitlisted for Main seating on our Alaska cruise in June for several weeks. Just last week, I noticed that we are now 'assigned' to Main seating and not Second.

 

Also, if you're still showing Second seating when you board - visit the Dining Room in the afternoon and request change to Main. There will probably be other people requesting to be changed FROM Main to Second. LOL
