Hello,

My wife and I are going on the Century next month and are thinking of trying out the specialty restraunt.

I was wondering if it is customary to tip extra in the specialty restraunt? If so how much and to whom?

Thanks

Rob

it's not necessary. The $30 charge is a tip.

That said, they'll gladly accept extra, which you can add when you sign the charge slip.

We usually eat in the speciality restaurant more than once during the cruise (3 - 7 times). We tip in cash at the end to those people we liked and/or were helpful. Usually it is $50 for the server and $150 - $200 for the Maitre d'. The extra $30 is not a big deal to us.
