rance Posted January 19, 2007 #1 Share Posted January 19, 2007 Hello, My wife and I are going on the Century next month and are thinking of trying out the specialty restraunt. I was wondering if it is customary to tip extra in the specialty restraunt? If so how much and to whom? Thanks Rob

That said, they'll gladly accept extra, which you can add when you sign the charge slip.
rance Posted January 19, 2007 Author #3 Share Posted January 19, 2007 Thanks, wasn't sure why the $30 charge was so steep.I think RC charged us $15 pp.
Steph27 Posted January 19, 2007 #4 Share Posted January 19, 2007 We usually eat in the speciality restaurant more than once during the cruise (3 - 7 times). We tip in cash at the end to those people we liked and/or were helpful. Usually it is $50 for the server and $150 - $200 for the Maitre d'. The extra $30 is not a big deal to us.
