BadKittie Posted January 19, 2007 #1 Share Posted January 19, 2007 Ive noticed a few people talking about spending the day at a resort and using their facilities while cruising the Mexican riviera. I am unsure of how to find out which resort/hotels offer these services, and which ones do. I know Ive read that some people go an pay a fee to use the resort and their beach and pools, and that sounds like a good way to spend part of the day. Does anyone know how to find out which resorts dot his and how much it costs? Thanks!
RSF Cruiser Posted January 19, 2007 #2 Share Posted January 19, 2007 Try going to hotel web sites in the various ports. I know in Manzanillo Las Hadas charges $30 per person and then they give you vouchers for $30 that can be used for food, beach chairs, etc. We decided to not stay at Las Hadas because of the fee and went next door to Tesoro. Sat on the beach in front of the hotel and didn't have to pay anything. But then we didn't want to use any of their facilities, either. In Zihuantanillo we went to Las Brisas Del Mar - bought two sodas, used their chaise lounges and rest room, spent a wonderful day on the beach. On many beaches they charge you ~$3 for a chair and umbrella. So, as you see, the costs vary a lot. Depends where you are going and what you want.
