Question about visa for Grand Cayman

Wondering if anyone happens to know if Grand Cayman requires a visa in addition to passport for Cuban citizens. We have a friend in this situation. Have already done research on internet and have come up with a list of countries that do not require a visa, and instructions to call the British Consulate to find out for those not listed. He is trying to reach them now. Just thought I'd put it out there and see if anyone happens to know. Thanks.

Yes. if your friend only has a Cuban passport, then he will need a Cayman visa. If he has other travel papers (US permanent residency or the like), it may be more advantageous to use those.

The necessary visas can be obtained through the British Embassy in his home country. He may need to apply in person depending upon the rules of the individual embassy. In some locales the travel agent can submit on his behalf.
