C&A Member Status~Platinum & Gold in same cabin...

We are sailing on the Enchantment on August 30th. DH & I are both Platinum members. My brother has decided to join us and is also staying in our cabin. He is only a Gold C&A member. I have read that if you are rooming with someone of a higher status, you become that status for the sailing. We just got our documents on Friday and DH & I are listed as Platinum but DB is listed as Gold. Will he be considered Platinum and get those benefits? When will be be notified? Anyone have any experience with this?

You will get a Platinum coupon book, he will get gold. If your cruise has priority check-in and you are in the same cabin, they will more than likely let him tag along with you.

Baum is correct. A few months ago, a friend and I did a "girls only" cruise. I was platinum and she was gold. We each received the coupon book for our level. She was also able to use platinum/diamond check-in.
