Supper Club

Can anyone explain to me what supper club is all about or point me to a thread that might give me some insight please? I've been hearing a lot of people mention it like Dave's but I'm not really understanding what it is. Is it formal? Is it the same food as main dining?

The Supper club is a five star resteraunt, not all ships have one. Harry's on the Liberty. David's on the Pride.

The meat is of the finest quality. YOu get a 9 oz Filet that was one of the best I ever had.

The meal is about 2 1/2 hours to eat. The attire is what they Call SMART Casual. We dress up for this meal, same as we would for formal night.

They also have a 2 piece combo for dancing.

YOu will pay an additional $30.00 per person for the meal, but we found this well worth the price and glad that we have eaten at the supper club on the last two cruises that we have been on

While the main dinning room server great meals the supper clubs is a step above. You might want to test out the main dinning room the first couple of nights before making a decision on the supper club. The meals and service in the main dinning room is outstanding.

The supper club, as mentioned above is a step above. I would suggest a formal attire. Plan on a great meal. It will take every bit of two hours to do it right. Each course is wonderful prepared and presented.

Oh my gosh, ya'll need to stop with the pictures and excerpts of the menu. I'm salivating all over my keyboard!!

The Point on the Conquest was as fabulous as everyone describes Dave's, etc. For $30 a person you get the kind of meal that you would probably pay $75 - $100 per person for at a fine New York steak restaurant.

We're sailing on the Miracle next week for our first cruise and one question I haven't seen answered regarding the supper club restaurants is - can you order multiple items like you can in the main dining room. The menu above looks so good.... could I order the lobster bisque AND escargot as appetizers, a salad, the crab legs AND the filet mignon? Oh... a couple desserts to finish off with too! Everything looks so good ....I obviously didn't eat enough for supper tonight

Cheers,

Peter.

No, Peter, just one items only. :( I didnt beleive it myself when people on here said that its alot of food, it really was. I got a killer picture of a Porterhouse steak that you would have to pack and take home its so big.

I want to thank everyone here for being so nice and answering my questions. You all are GREAT!!!!!!!!!

Fred, WOW!!!!!! The presentation is awesome. We definitely have to try a supper club next time. $30 per person for a meal like that is definitely worth it. Are you still stuck with the standard beverages or does that price include softdrinks?

We are booked on the Spirit June 6th. Our friends will be celebrating their 35th wedding anniversary during our cruise. I wanted to make reservations at the supper club for that night. How do I go about doing that? Can I do it now? Any other suggestions for people celebrating anniversaries?

3 ways, First you can go to the Pursers Deck in the Main Lobby and you can book it there, there is a Rep by a table that has the Steaks and Lobsters laid out. Second, go up to the Restaurant up on the 10th Deck, there are steps that will take you up there from Lido Deck, just ask anyone there on lido deck and they will point the way. 3. Call the Number listed in the Stateroom.

You will have to wait until you board the ship to book. Also if Supper Club can book more then 10 couples on the very first night, they will open it up for business. If not it will open on the first Sea Day, which is the next day after boarding.
