airlink diva Posted January 26, 2007 #1 Share Posted January 26, 2007 I'm sailing on the Maasdam in April. I never noticed until two days ago I'm on the ship during Easter. It's a port day (St. Luica) and I'm going on a private tour. My question is one, do the ship offer service on that Sunday? Two, should I expect limited shops open due to this day? Anyone who sailed on Easter and had port days on Easter advice is most helpful!!
noblepa Posted January 26, 2007 #2 Share Posted January 26, 2007 Two, should I expect limited shops open due to this day? As jsipes said, the shops on board will be closed while in port. The shops in St. Lucia may or may not be open. I've never been there, so I can't tell you how strictly they observe religious holidays. You might be able to get a better answer in the Ports of call boards. We're also going on a cruise next April, on the Zuiderdam, but we'll be on Half Moon Cay on Easter Sunday. I expect that to be open.
