ladylawyer Posted January 26, 2007 #3 Share Posted January 26, 2007 The Monarch is a bit smaller than what you may be used to on other classes of ships. I generally stay in a JS (mostly because you have to be in a suite if you want a balcony) and find it to be quite adequate for 2 people. There's a tub in the bathroom (although, if you're tall, you'll find the ceiling to be a bit low - I'm 5'5" and have no issues but my 6' DH feels a bit cramped). There is a couch and a chair. I've been in a JS with the beds together and apart ... plenty of room, eitherway. Very adequate storage, too. Any specific questions? Ask ... ~ LL
critterchick Posted January 26, 2007 #4 Share Posted January 26, 2007 I've visited the OS and it's nothing like the OS you'll find on the newer ships, although it's still quite nice. The bed is on the inside of the cabin, then there's a bar (not a wet bar, though), dining table w/chairs and sofa/chair seating area by the window. The balcony is nice and large with a couple of loungers on it. The bathroom is the same as the JS - shower/tub combo, toilet, one sink.
MszKitty Posted January 26, 2007 #5 Share Posted January 26, 2007 I've been in a grand suite and I have photos but I don't know how to post them. If you want to share your email address, I will be happy to email the pics to you.
