wvdleek Posted January 26, 2007 #1 Share Posted January 26, 2007 The Urban Design and Public Housing Department of the Municipality of Rotterdam (copyright ©) has made a videofilm (duration 4:20 min.) which gives you an impression about the parkinglot and walkingboulevard at Katendrecht (future berth). This Department has given permission to show you this film via my website. = = = Met vriendelijke groeten / With kind regards Willem H. van der Leek "It's good to see a well-run site!" http://www.vdleek.nl

wvdleek Posted February 27, 2007 Author #4 Share Posted February 27, 2007 Must need new reading glasses since I could not understand a word of the posting made by Pollux! He said: Nice to see a beautifull ship in the most notorious part of The Netherlands. I guess he left Holland a very long time ago and does not know that Katendrecht is no longer the red light district of Rotterdam. The events calendar, set by the municipality of Rotterdam, mentions Friday 14 September as the homecoming day of the ship. However, the manager of De Rotterdam BV (owner) states that while work on the ship is in progress, they find a lot of problems, which can cause a delay.
