Silver Moon Catamaran

We are thinking about doing the Silver Moon Catamaran when in Barbados, There will be a couple of kids (6 and 7) and a couple of Seniors (57 and 59) on our group so we have some Logistic questions. We would like to know details about the boat. Does it has a bathroom? is there a covered room so that a senior person can relax why the rest of us enjoy the trip?. Do you get seasick on this Catamaran?. We realize that this depend on the weather that day but I hear that Catamaran offer a better ride that an normal boat and we would like to know if this is true. Do they go very far from the coast or do they more or less stay close by? How is the food?

thanks :)

We did this back in March and enjoyed..

There is a cover for shade for the seniors.

I thought the food was great - grilled chicken, fish, salads.. drinks all day

There is a bathroom.

We did not get seasick, and do tend to at times.

I believe we were in sight of the coast most of the trip - remembered asking about areas of the island..what hotels we were passing etc..

I thought the crew was great, very friendly and helpful.

I hope this was helpful - anything else, just ask.

You will probably get a few other responses or you can do a search to get other opinions.

I am prone to motion sickness and I was fine on the catamaran. Food was

good. Plenty of seats/table in back on boat (I stayed back there for most

of it) Did TRY the front near the nets coming back...forget it...too rough

for me hit several waves and we were soaked! Was fine on the back though.

Crew was great. They had either 1 or 2 bathrooms don't remember exactly.

My trip was in May. Have a few pix if you would like to see them...just email

me directly. You wont go wrong with this trip!
