Need Help Quick Re Verandah Categories and Booking - PLEASE!

Hi,

I have just had a quote via ***** for a cruise in Alaska that is not showing availability of verandahs on any website. The quotation is for a category BC and a category A verandah. I am completely confused as to the difference in all of the verandah categories - what is the difference between the BC and A and indeed all the others. I 'get' the SS difference but when you search balcony cabin types it shows the same size for all the verandahs and same layout. Is it that they are on different decks? Different locations?

What is the best deck to be on?

One more thing, the agency states: :The cabins you have requested are not available. If you are interested in changing the sailing date or the ship, please feel free to call us. Please call us to see if your booking will include Dinner for 2 at the Grille, bottles of wine, or photo vouchers. Thank you

- should this concern me??

Thanks
