April 24 QM2 Transatlantic Mystery Cruise

The QM2 is travelling from Southampton to NYC on April 24, but when I tried to book passage, I was told that the entire ship has been privately chartered. Does anyone know if it is a private individual, (celebrity, royalty, etc...) or perhaps a large travel agency or some company or organization. Any information would be greatly appreciated.

Why is this crossing so secretive; maybe its Michael Jackson or the Scientologists.

The gay cruise is in May, not on April 24. Cunard is being very very secretive about that date...I've tried many sources and can't get an answer. Obviously, this can't be kept a secret forever...maybe I should get Geraldo Rivera on this.

Linerguy has said RSVP has both the 24Apr07 and 29May07, although there is some more speculation on that.

thanks for the reply, but I called RSVP and they said they only chartered the May crossing...April 24 is still a mystery...
