sillymom Posted January 31, 2007 #1 Share Posted January 31, 2007 We will be going on the Carnival Conquest next month with our three boys: 5, 3, and 6 months old. This will be our second time on this cruise. We had a great time last year and loved the sting ray experience. However, with the baby on this cruise, we are looking for some other things to do and places to visit. Are there any resorts that allow cruise passengers entrance for a daily fee? We definitely want some beach time. Any suggestions would be appreciated!
MellowMel Posted January 31, 2007 #2 Share Posted January 31, 2007 I'm not sure about beach areas, but we did a pirate encounter cruise. We went out on a pirate ship and the kids became pirates for the day. They took an oath, scrubbed the decks, etc. We sailed around the many cruise ships and "fired" on them. Then the ship anchored and for about an hour or more, they let you jump off the ship and swim around in the water. Everyone that swims must wear a lifejacket. You didn't have to swim if you didn't want to. They had plenty of free beverages too. It was nice and the kids enjoyed it.
adamsmom Posted January 31, 2007 #3 Share Posted January 31, 2007 The pirate ship sounds great! I would also suggest the turtle farm, or an island tour that includes it.
