cck0000 Posted February 1, 2007 #1 Share Posted February 1, 2007 :) Does anyone know the website? I used it before a couple years ago. It was free and you just plugged in your ship and stateroom and it had a picture and stats and berths and all that. ??
cruisinbuddy Posted February 1, 2007 #2 Share Posted February 1, 2007 Just go to the individual cruise companys web sites and look at the deck plans.

parody Posted February 2, 2007 #4 Share Posted February 2, 2007 The site that you may be thinking of is now membership based. However, to get virtual tours of staterooms, etc., click here. Another site with information on staterooms can be found here.
Happy ks Posted February 2, 2007 #5 Share Posted February 2, 2007 Here is the site you were looking for: http://www.cruisestateroom.com/ You can only view the deck plans if you're not a member. I bit the bullet and paid for a membership a couple of years ago, it's not that expensive - $11.95 for a lifetime membership. It's easy to use and has photos along with cabin plans for most major cruise lines and ships. I find myself using it extensively, comparing cabins without going to different sites. The photos are by cruisers who have submitted them, I think they get a small payment for them, like 50 cents each.
parody Posted February 2, 2007 #6 Share Posted February 2, 2007 You can only view the deck plans if you're not a member. Oddly, although the public website is titled cruisedeckplans.com, it is still possible to see schematics of staterooms.
ddoll Posted February 3, 2007 #7 Share Posted February 3, 2007 I found a plethora of informatin about the cabin I booked by doing a google search. The photos that were even unavailable on the cruiseline site were out there. Take a peek for yourself.
Happy ks Posted February 3, 2007 #8 Share Posted February 3, 2007 Oddly, although the public website is titled cruisedeckplans.com, it is still possible to see schematics of staterooms. Yes, some of them, but not all. There is a difference, you are able to not only see the floor plans, but actual photos of the different catagory cabins. I joined this site a couple of years back, after he was almost forced to shut it down because of costs. I'm not sorry I did, I refer to it extensively, without the hassle of going through TA websites and it is more thorough than the cruiselines descriptions of their own cabins. They have great virtual tours, as well.
