What to do if it is raining?

We are supposed to be in Grand Cayman on Tuesday next week. The forecast calls for approx 60% chance of rain. We are scheduled to do the Reef, Rays, and Rum Point excursion with Nativeway. Any other ideas if it is raining?

What's wrong with a little rain? After all the fish and rays will still be swimming and good weather or bad you are going to get wet. If the seas are rough the excursion may be canceled, but I doubt if some rain will cause cancellation.

All day rains are rare in Cayman. It does happen, but only a few days each year.

 

More typically rain comes in 20 minute downpours, starting and stoppng suddenly. If it has basically been blue skies and sunshine before the rain starts, then just duck into a shop (or into the water for snorkelling) until it passes.
