FLL: Watching the ships roll in...

IF (a big if) we get up very early and put together a breakfast picnic, is there any place we could go to watch the ships arrive at Port Everglades?

CruiseCal has them all arriving at 7 or 8. Does that sound right?

By 7am they're already tied up at the dock. You can walk up to the highest point of the S.E.17th Street causeway bridge and watch them come in starting around 5am. ;)

We stayed at the Hyatt Pier 66 on the 14th floor last year and at 5:30 they started rollling in. What a beautiful site. We sat on the balcony with some coffee and chatted with the people in the next balcony doing the same thing.
