anil099 Posted February 4, 2007 #1 Share Posted February 4, 2007 Ok I found out unfortunately a while ago that you have to be 21 to go on a cruise alone....but my question is...im 19 and my roommate is 24....Will we be able to go? like i could go with him and he be the "over 21" guy? or is that not allowed and only parents/guardians can accompany under
RoofingPrincess Posted February 4, 2007 #2 Share Posted February 4, 2007 from RCCL's website: Onboard Policies Q: What is Royal Caribbean International's Age Policy? A: No guest under the age of twenty-one (21) will be reserved in a stateroom unless accompanied by an adult twenty-one (21) years of age, or older. This age limit will be waived for minor children sailing with their parents or guardians in adjacent staterooms or under-aged married couples (proof of marriage is required). Royal Caribbean International reserves the right to ask for proof of age.
wrp96 Posted February 4, 2007 #3 Share Posted February 4, 2007 It depends on the cruiseline. RCCL will allow somebody under 21 to book as long as there is somebody 21 or older booked into the room. On Princess the minimum to book is age 18. Carnival, however, requires somebody to be at least 25 if there is anybody under the age of 21 in the room. newmexicoNita Posted February 4, 2007 #4 Share Posted February 4, 2007 As already mentioned, it depends on the cruise line. I would suggest you talkt oo an experienced Travel agent that specializes in cruises. Each line is different. nMNita
