skarletohara Posted February 4, 2007 #1 Share Posted February 4, 2007 We're thinking of booking this ship for September and I recall a while back someone posting about too much noise from the Riviera deck, i.e., noise from lounge chairs being dragged overhead, et cet, How about the cabins aft that are direct underneath Horizon court? Has anyone noticed an inordinate amount of noise? Also, if we are mid-ship on Riviera or Aloha, would we be able to hear MUTS while on our balcony? We usually end up on Emerald or Dolphin, but would like to try a higher-up cabin, but not if there's too much noise factor. Also, what about the Lido deck cabins, particulary 311 or 309? Any noise from above with those? thanks
Princess V Posted February 4, 2007 #2 Share Posted February 4, 2007 Husband and I had a cabin on the Rivera deck mid ship, on our cruise to the Western Caribbean, July 2006 . We had a little noise but it never really bothered us. We loved the fact that we just walked down the hall to the pool (adult) and the Horizon Court. I really like the location so much that on my cruise this May to the Eastern Caribbean, I booked the very same cabin. This year I've planned a mother/daughter trip. This will be my moms first cruise. Counting down the days!!! Vikki;)
Princess V Posted February 6, 2007 #3 Share Posted February 6, 2007 Me Again, Even though I like the Rivera deck, for the reasons I mentioned in my post above. Just today, I decided to upgrade to a mini suite on the CB. I'm a little concerned about the uncovered balcony, but the extra room!!!! I'm looking forward to not having to be so creative when shaving my legs. Counting down the days!!! Vikki;)
