Port Everglades to FLL

Would it be possible to make a 9:45 am flight (sun on spirit) after getting off of a Costa ship?

 

We really have to make it back to NY for a family event and we don't want to pass up this great deal

I wouldn't normally recommend it, but it might depend on what day you are looking at flying home. If there are a lot of ships in port that day, I definitely would not recommend trying for that early of a flight. For example, if you are sailing the Costa Magica, usually there are at least 5 other ships at Port Everglades that day which will back up the port AND the airport.

Here's my $.02...

Don't do it! Check to see how many ships are coming and going that Sunday.

It can be upwards of 30-40,000 people! That's the reason prices are so high from

11:00 am - 3:30 pm

FLL can't handle the volume....and you'll be a wreck if the ship has a delay in disembarking.

Don't be in a hurry to get back to the hurriedness of life - after enjoying such a wonderful holiday from it.

 

Do yourself a favor - enjoy the cruise as long as possible. :)

FYI, check out http://www.cruisecal.com for the number of ships in port that day.

Today, I think there were 7 ships, and the COSTA ships arrive at 8:00 am, not 7:00am as do others.

had a feeling it was cutting it too close which is why I asked the experts

 

wish we didnt have to rush back to reality but this is an important family event that we can miss---although being late is a different story!!!!!!

 

now if I could figure out how to get the free kid rate to show up on any website i will be really happy----!!!!
