HappyCruiser383 Posted February 4, 2007 #1 Share Posted February 4, 2007 We've only sailed on Carnival and Royal Caribbean. The bar staff on those ships always seemed to be walking around with a special fruity drink of the day at a special price. I heard that Princess does not do this. Is that true? Does the wait staff still offer a fruity foo-foo drink of some sort? I like to try the different drinks (anything with fruit and an umbrella tastes great!) but I never know the names of them. Cathy p Posted February 4, 2007 #2 Share Posted February 4, 2007 We were on the CB last year and we had the specialty drink of the day. The Pina Coladas got my non drinking husband hooked. He loved them. Still does not drink at home however he is really looking forward to our cruise in April on the Star.:)
dsfitz Posted February 4, 2007 #3 Share Posted February 4, 2007 We've sailed Carnival and Princess and would have to agree with that. Princess does not make nearly as big a deal about a "drink of the day" as Carnival does, and although I think the Patters did list one, it wasn't offered at any significant discount. That said, they have all the drinks, so there's plenty to try.
Steven_&_Daniel Posted February 6, 2007 #4 Share Posted February 6, 2007 I think there is a mention of a special drink each day in the Patter. Here are links to Patters for the two current Crown itineraries.
