I know that the trip insurance covers you if you get sick before or during the trip, but does it cover you if you have an airline issues and miss the cruise sail time? With some of the winter weather this year, it is always a possiblity.

Yes, it should cover airline issues, lost baggage, bad weather, but you will have to ready your policy to make sure it covers everything.
