Promenade cabin on Freedom of the Seas

Any information on the inside cabins on Freedom of the Seas that overlook the promenade? Does the view of the promenade take away from the closed-in feeling of other inside cabins? Is noise an issue?

Thanks for any help.

We weren't on the Freedom but had a promenade on the Navigator. We really liked it. It didn't feel as closed in as an inside room and we enjoyed the window seat.

No problem with noise but we also weren't on the deck directly above the shops or bars.

My wife and I had a balcony with our two teens across the hall from us and we liked it enough to book one for March 11 2007. I was surprised at how big it was. Just pull back the drapes and watch the people. We also had a front row seat to the parade on the first night. And real quiet.
