aaatrm Posted February 19, 2007 #26 Share Posted February 19, 2007 Thanks...I was wondering if maybe that's it -- June is their busy time.
Dagny Posted May 6, 2007 #27 Share Posted May 6, 2007 The Hyatt was lovely and uncrowded when I was there in Feb. There are beautifully-maintained washrooms for changing in. You will get towels and access to the pools, hot tubs, swim-up bar, loungers, beach umbrellas and of course their beach. There were three ships in port and probably a dozen people around the hotel, if that. Contrasted with the free beach club next door, which was packed to the rafters and not nearly as nice, the Hyatt was a great deal. The food and drink was tasty as well. Martin and Lindsey Posted May 7, 2007 #28 Share Posted May 7, 2007 Did you eat in Hemingway's? Was it very expensive? and if so was it worth it?
Dagny Posted May 7, 2007 #29 Share Posted May 7, 2007 Did you eat in Hemingway's? Was it very expensive? and if so was it worth it? We ate at the pool bar which is served via Hemingway's kitchen. The food was resort-style good with typical resort pricing. Let me see, I covered our bill...I would estimate drinks being around the $10 mark and lunch would run about $20/pp. Coupled with the great setting, good service and amenities, I found it good value :)
