HELLO EVERYONE! I AM A NEWBIE. ANY INFORMATION WILL BE HELPFUL. THIS IS MY FIRST CRUISE OUT OF GALVESTON AND IT IS FOR MY 10TH WEDDING ANNIVERSARY. MY HUSBAND HAS NO IDEA AND HE WON'T UNTIL CHRISTMAS. WE SAIL 01/16/05 ON THE ELATION. I ALSO BOOKED THIS FOR MY PARENTS FOR THEIR 30TH ANNIVERSARY AND THEY ARE ALSO NEWBIE'S. WHAT ARE YOUR SUGGESTIONS?:)

Welcome to the wonderful world of cruising! :) Begin with research. The internet is full of information. Read everything you can and then ask specific questions say about food, the pools, embarkation, tipping etc. Specific questions are much easier to answer and there are a lot of members here to help you.

WhooHoo!! I can't believe someone else is celebrating their 10th anniversary too! I'm leaving Feb 20th. I'm so excited!!! My husband knows but he is leaving all the planning to me. He wants to be suprised. He knows I could never live without researching it to death.

 

I'm wondering though about the water in February. Other than that, I'm blown away with all the choices.

Have you considered any of the anniversary decoration packages offered by the cruiseline for your stateroom? I didn't order the romance package (because I hate most wines) but I did order anniversary decorations.
