Another upgrade question

Recommended Posts

We are booked on the Legend for 11/3/04 and on Carnival's web site and also Orbitz it shows that all inside and oceanview cabins are sold out. We booked an IS guarantee in January for this cruise. Does the fact that all lower price cabins have been sold out mean that we have very little if any chance at an upgrade? Anyone ever experience this before that can share any information with us. Thanks as always.

Not necessarily. It's still a long way off. TAs often hold blocks of cabins and of course some deposited cruises will likely be cancelled when final pmt is due. Ships are sailing pretty full.

jim&robin, you could still get an upgrade... but remember, most upgrades are vertical type upgrades (inside to inside, but higher deck... OV to OV, but higher deck, etc.), although there have been people upgraded from IS to OV and OV to Balcony... so keep your chin up, you could still have a nice surprise when you arrive at the pier!!! Have a great time!

We booked a 4a for ou rcruise 7-17 on the Glory. Ended up with room 1004 . Tenth floor and a handicap room. What a surprise. We did not expect any upgrade going in July. I guess it was just luck, but no complaints from us.
