serene56 Posted February 9, 2007 #2 Share Posted February 9, 2007 it depends on your sailing and how many kids are in programs. But if it can be done-- your oldest child will go to the younger program- http://cruises.about.com/cs/cruisingwithkids/a/princesskids.htm since your youngest is having a birthday while on the cruise it might be done. Programs are usually done by the age they are on the first day of the cruise. You got a birth certificate so its hard to fudge about age.
Cruisin' Chick Posted February 10, 2007 #3 Share Posted February 10, 2007 One thing to think about if they are assigned to different groups: maybe the older boy may prefer to be with kids his age. Your youngest will be with kids his age and unless he's really shy, will be making friends. Another thing to think about is if you're going when kids are out of school, there will probably be many kids on this cruise. If you're travelling when kids are mainly in school (say late January), there will be fewer kids and fewer activities.
dforeigner Posted February 10, 2007 #4 Share Posted February 10, 2007 http://www.princess.com/onboard/activities/youthandteens/fun_zone.html Princess Fun Zone Activities are divided into two age groups: "Princess Pelicans" (ages 3-7) "Shockwaves (ages 8-12) On all Vessels except Tahitian and Pacific Princess you'll find completely equipped Youth Centers. Please note that on Diamond, Caribbean, Sapphire, and Star Princess, age groups for the children's program may differ from those advertised.
