I am sure this question has been asked before, but I can't seem to locate it. What is the number of casual, semi-formal and formal nights on an 8 day cruise?

There are typically 2 formal nights on a cruise that length. I'm not aware of Carnival having any semi-formal nights, so someone else could perhpas answer that for you.

 

The first and last nights are the most casual, people sometimes don't have their luggage before dinner the first night and I have no idea why people are so casual the last night :) .

 

However, since you are asking about clothing in the first place, I have a feeling you will look great every night.
